The Chippewa Figure Skating Club general meetings are held on the 4^th Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the ice arena.

**This is your opportunity to attend and learn more about what is happening with skating as well as offer feedback and suggestions.  Following directly after the general meeting will be the Figure Skating Club Board of Directors meeting.

Anyone can attend, but only board members can discuss and vote on the issues before it.  If you have concerns that the Board should address please contact any Board member.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2008-2009

The Chippewa Figure Skating Club Board of Directors has been established to ensure our Club is running smoothly.  The Chippewa Youth Hockey Association governs the Chippewa Figure Skating Club.  Please feel free to contact any of our board members with any questions or concerns you may have.

·        Chairs all monthly meetings
·        Schedules “ice time” with Hockey Association
·        Handles coaching issues – works directly with coaches
·        Determines skater advancements – testing procedures with coaches

·        Assists and fills in for current president as needed
·        Coordinates activities directly involved with Bingo functions

·        Records and distributes all monthly board meetings

·        Responsible for CFSC financial accounts
·        Distributes monthly financial reports to CFSC board members

·        Reports yearly financial reports to CYHA

·        Coordinates second half registration for SWU

·        Distributes Awards and certification of completion to skaters
·        Coordinates and maintains summer ice schedule

·        Communications/phone calls to members of any ice time changes, etc.
·        Head of “team moms”
·        Keeps the communication going between all levels of skaters via the “team mom” concept.  Shares information and keeps all informed.
